RDF International Ltd. is a sourcing company that focuses on consumer electronics. It is guided by the Management Team (MT), a young and international team of 4 directors, each of whom is responsible for groups within their specialist field of operation: Administration, Product Management, Sales and Artwork/Design. The MT reports directly to the Managing Director. In weekly meetings, the MT discusses company related issues and makes decisions to determine solutions and formalise plans for future business activities. They review each week to supervise the execution of former decisions and provide the office with clear guidelines for certain projects and future activities. The MT member is characterised by an excellent ‘know-how’ with respect to his/her field of responsibility and precise and extensive knowledge about the ongoing business of the Shanghai office. The team undertakes activities to develop policies and institutional processes, to develop and manage special projects, share and disseminate information, and coordinate the work of all the employees in the Shanghai. Additionally, they place a significant emphasis upon the training and sharing of knowledge amongst their teams. As part of this process, weekly training seminars are conducted to enrich the fibre and improve the capability of RDF employees. With a combined experience of more than 30 years in China and extensive experience in their respective specialist areas, the MT provides a high level of competence to the company and their colleagues. Their ability to make quick decisions and ensure short communication channels are also a vital aspect to sustaining business progress and growth.
