Why should I buy a PPlus LED bulb?

With rising energy costs, it is critical to improve your household’s energy efficiency.  Around 9% of an average household’s electrical usage is attributed to lighting.  One of the easiest steps you can take toward greater energy efficiency can be done in a matter of seconds – change your old incandescent bulbs to PPlus LED bulbs.

Can I use an LED bulb outside?

LED bulbs can be used outdoors if used in an enclosed fixture. To be certain, look for the package or bulb to say that it can be used outdoors and verify the lowest operating temperature for the area where the product is being used.

Can I use a PPlus LED bulb with a dimmer switch?

Yes, all PPlus LED bulbs work on a dimmer switch, but only at full light output. Our next generation lamps which will be released during the 2008 third quarter will be fully working with a dimmer switch.

Should I be concerned about using LED bulbs in my home or should I take any special precautions?

LED bulbs are safe to use in your home, they are mercury-free and meet the strict requirements of the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (ROHS).
